Summary

SocialCast has no server and no database. It runs on the operator's own computer, and everything it holds stays there.

What is stored

When an account is connected, the platform returns an access token and a refresh token. These are written to a file on the operator's computer so the tool does not have to ask for authorisation again. The tool also reads the connected account's basic profile information (open id and display name) so it can show which account it is about to upload to.

What is not done

No personal data is collected from anyone other than the operator. Nothing is transmitted to the author or to any third party. There are no analytics, no cookies and no tracking on this website. The tool sends data only to the platform the operator is uploading to.

Video content

Video files are read from a local folder and sent directly to the platform's upload endpoint. They are not copied anywhere else.

Deleting your data

Deleting the stored token file disconnects the account. Authorisation can also be revoked at any time from the platform's own settings — for TikTok, under Settings and privacy, Security and permissions, Apps and services.
